Looking for a queer horror movie to watch this Halloween, look no further. This year I watched ten horror movies I watched this year, here are my top three.

Spiral
Spiral may not be a perfect movie, but it delivers some decent chills and suspense. Not all your questions will be answered, but horror doesn’t need to tie up every loose end. If you’re looking for a horror movie that makes the viewer uncomfortable instead of using cheap jump scares, Spiral should fit the bill.

Knife + Heart
Knife + Heart is highly stylized, with bright colors and stunning visuals. It takes place in 1979 and has the look and feel of cinema at the time. Director Yann Gonzalez has a vision for what he wants to show, and he does so with precision. This is a beautiful film.

Hellbent
If you’re looking for some campy Halloween thrills and chills, Hellbent will fit the bill. Etheredge-Ouzts knows how to put together an entertaining slasher.
