If you’ve been following my blog, you may have already seen a few of them; if you haven’t, please give one or two of them a try. You deserve it.

FYI: The order of this list is random.

Teenage Kicks

Miles Szanto and Daniel Webber in Teenage Kicks

Teenage Kicks is a well-crafted film about people dealing with grief. Because the main character is a teenager whose guilt causes him to fall into a downward spiral of anger and drugs, it can be difficult to watch. But the end is worth the ride.

Katy O'Brian and Kristen Stewart in Love Lies Bleeding

Love Lies Bleeding is a kick ass lesbian romance with bite and some horror. The outrageousness doesn’t happen until the story really gets into full gear, and you won’t believe it when it does.

Runs in the Family

Gabe Gabriel and Ace Bhatti in Runs in the Family (2023)

Runs in the Family is a delightful film about family and acceptance. Its delightfully quirky characters and shady dealings make for a fun romp. And if you’re the type to re-watch a film, Runs in the Family will feel like a different movie since you’ll know the characters’ real motivations.
